— Funeral services for Peter W. Bachman, 68, lifelong resident of the Moundridge community, were held Sunday afternoon at the West Zion Mennonite Church there. Rev. Marvin Zehr, the pastor, officiated. Mr. Bachman died Sept. 4 at Mercy Hospital. He was a retired barber, and at one time served as Moundridge city clerk. Survivors include his widow, Frieda; a son, Donald, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Marion Branum of Newton; brothers Adolph and Otto of Moundridge, Ernest of Newton, and Gerhard of Hesston; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bartel of Moundridge, and three grandsons.
