LILLIAN ALLERT

Lillian Allert died Dec. 27. She was born Apr. 10, 1940 in Wembley, Alta. Later they moved to Yarrow, B.C. Despite ill health she graduated from high school and worked in Vancouver. She had many talents, like computer skills and electrical work. She sewed clothing for her family. She accepted the Lord at 14 and served Him wholeheartedly. She taught Sunday school, worked in the church library, sang in the choir and memorized many hymns. Later, she spent many hours at home but continued to trust the Lord in her loneliness. Predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers, she is mourned by sisters Katherine and Hilda, Abbotsford; brother Neil; nephews and nieces. The funeral was Jan. 2 in Bakerview MB Church.
