Injuries Cause Death Of Manitoba Farmer
Steinbach, Manitoba. — Funeral services were held at the Rhineland Church near Grunthal on April 7 for John P. Martens, 51, who died in Winnipeg General Hospital of complications following a farm accident.
Mr. Martens was working near his tractor, which was attached to a liquid manure spreader, when his arm caught int he power takeoff unit. The accident took place April1, and he died tow days later.
