Driver of Snowmobile Dies of Exposure

Rosthern, Sask. — An elderly man living near Saskatoon apparently died of exposure after the power toboggan he was operating became stuck in deep snow near Warman.

Peter Martens, 76, left Warman about 4 p.m. on Feb. 10 after visiting friends there. He was found late the following evening on an unused road by other power tobogganists, and was taken to St. Paul's Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
