— Mrs. Katie Holdeman, 95, a resident of the Hesston Community most of her life, died Feb. 9 at Livingston, Calif. where she had been living the past several years. The body was returned here, and funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Meridian Mennonite Church near Hesston, with Rev. Frank Wenger officiating. Mrs. Holdeman was the widow of Samuel Holdeman, who died in 1936. Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Atmore, Ala. and Mrs. Sadie Ball of Flint, Mich.; two step-sons, Pearl of Moundridge and John of Newton; a sister, Mrs. Naomi Buerge of Ithaca, Mich.; an a brother, Noah Leatherman of Livingston. | |||
