TERRY DAVID ISAAC
Terence David Isaac of Kitchener, Ont passed away on February 17. He was born on November 5, 1956 to Cornelius and Ella (Dick) Isaac in Galt, Ont., and lived most oF his life in Kitchener. As a young boy he accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and life, and was baptized and joined the Kitchener MB Church on his 16th birthday. His physical strength slowly deteriorated due to muscular dystrophy; by the age of 10 he was confined to a wheelchair, and by March 1973 he was bedridden. He developed a gift for sketching and drawing, expressing his love of nature.
For Terry life was not a series of disappointments, self-pity or bitterness, but a gift from God. He spent much time communicating with his Lord, especially in his later years as he diligently studied and meditated on the Word and spent time in intercessory prayer. The Psalms and the book of Philippians were among his favourite Bible portions. His attitude and outlook on life would not have been possible without the constant and loving care he received from his devoted parents. Terry was predeceased by one brother in infancy; another brother, Robert, who also had muscular dystrophy, in 1966; and his father, who died suddenly on October 13,1979. He leaves to mourn his mother, Ella; his grandfather, David Dick of New Hamburg, Ont.; a host of relatives and friends as well as the congregation of Kitchener MB. The funeral was on February 20 in the Kitchener church, with pastors John F. Froese and Ted Braun in charge.
