•  Mrs. David T. Schmidt, 46, who moved here in 1948 from Medford, Okla., died July 21 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital after an illness of a year and a half.  She was a member of the First Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. Arnold Epp.  Mrs. Schmidt, the former Kathryn Janzen, was married to David T. Schmidt at Buhler.  He survives, with two sons, Donald L., of Newton and Lewis D. of Wichita, four sisters and five brothers.
