•  Funeral services were held Sunday in Cantwell, Alaska for Edgar W. Busenitz, 57, of rural Newton.  He died Saturday of a heart attack in Alaska where he had been vacationing and visiting a daughter.  Survivors include his widow, Elm; one daughter, Mrs. Ellis (Dorothy) Kasten of Ruby, Alaska; one son, Eugene, of rural Newton; six brothers; four sisters; and five grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held later at Emmaus Mennonite Church near Whitewater.

Amstutz in charge.  Mr. Busenitz died unexpectedly July 26 at Cantwell, Alaska, where he and his wife had gone to visit their daughter and family.  The funeral was held July 27 at Cantwell.
