Abraham Herman Martens passed away Jan. 21. He was born in Kuterla, Neu Samara, Russia, Apr. 1, 1921. When he was 5, the family left Russia; due to medical problems, they spent time in Eng- land and Mexico before coming to Canada. They settled in Tofield, Alta. He helped on the family farm.
