•  Albert J. Dyck, former Newton resident, died on May 29 of a heart attack at Peabody. Services were held June 1 in the Emmaus Mennonite Church of Whitewater.  Survivors include his widow, Mariann; a son, Willis, Newton; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Cook, Denver; three brothers and one sister.
