Dies at Age 101
Reedley, Calif. — Jacob F. Dick, this community's oldest resident, died at a nursing home here March 29 at the age of 101.
A native of South Russia, Mr. Dick came to the Buhler, Kan. community as a lad. He moved to this area in 1907 and operated a fruit farm south of Reedley. He was among the organizers of the Reedley M. B. Church, where the funeral was conducted on April 2.
Survivors include seven children, 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren, as well as a 99-year-old brother, Frank F. Dick of Hutchinson, Kan.
