• Edward Pauls,71, retired farmer of Buhler, died at his home there on Jan. 1. He was a member of the Hoffnungsau church, where the funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon, with Rev. Dick Rempel in charge. Survivors include the widow, Louise, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Froese of Buhler; sons Harold of Inman, Irvin of Johnson, Eldon of Dodge City and Herb of Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren; six brothers and one sister. | |||
