• Two lifelong residents of the Moundridge community, both members of the Eden Mennonite Church, died last week. Mrs. Ed R. (Marie) Goering, 74, died Friday at Mercy Hospital. She leaves her husband, a son, Leland R. of Moundridge, one grandchild, one brother and three sisters.
Mrs. Gustav E. (Emma) Krehbiel, 77, died Saturday at the Halstead Nursing Center. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Herman and Ervin, and two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Waltner and Ann Krehbiel, all of Moundridge; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers. Services for Mrs. Goering were held on Monday afternoon, and those for Mrs. Krehbiel on Tuesday afternoon, both at the Eden Church. Dr. H. A. Fast and Rev. Wendell Rempel officiated at both funerals.
