CORNELIUS BARG

Cornelius Barg passed away July 14. He was born Sept. 1, 1917 to Kornelius and Elizabeth Barg in Tiege, Molotschna, Ukraine, the youngest of 6 siblings. The family immigrated to Kitchener Ont. in 1926, later moving to Vineland Ont. He attended high school in Beamsville, Ont. He accepted Jesus as a young man and was baptized by H.H. Janzen. During World War II, he served as a conscientious objector in the forests of northern Ontario and B.C. In 1950 he moved back to Kitchener with his parents and joined Kitchener MB Church.
