Sara Janzen passed away May 28. She was born Apr.13, 1905 to David and Suzanna Klassen in Osterwick, Chortitza, Russia. In 1925 she and her parents immigrated to Canada, joining her siblings and settling near Winkler, Man. She accepted Christ at 16 and was baptized in Gnadenthai in 1931, joining Winkler MB Church. She cared for her ailing mother, who died of cancer in 1931. She then worked for various families and was a housekeeper for 7 years for teacher Wiens in Winkler. In 1941 she married John H.
