Member of Goshen Church, 96, Follows Sister in Death
Goshen, Ind. — Death came to a 96-year-old Goshen woman on Oct. 23, just three months after the death of her 98-year-old sister.
Miss Edna Hartzler died at Goshen General hospital after being a patient at a Goshen nursing home for the past year. She would have reached her 97th birthday on Oct. 29. Her sister Leah died July 22 at the age 98.
The sisters were natives of elkhart County and resided here together for many years. They were members of the Eighth Street Mennonite Church. The only survivors are a niece of Goshen and two nephews of Hutchinson, Kan.
Funeral services for Miss Edna were held Oct. 25 at the Eighth Street Church, with Rev. A. E. Kreider and Rev. Ernest Bohn in charge.
