DAVID ARTHUR POOT
av id Arthur Poot of Armstrong, B,C, passed away Mar. 18 of cancer. He was bom Mar, 14, 196 1 to Roelof an d Shi rl ey Poot in New- marke t, Ont. He atte nd- ed Briercrest High School and Bible Col- lege in Caron port, Sask., where his mother worked . He married Francene Thiessen in 1986 in Armstrong. They later moved to Vanderhoof, B.c', where he worked in the sawmill. In September 2001, they moved back to Armstrong. His inter- ests included his church family, his sons' hockey, and camping and fish- ing as a family, He had a great sense of humour even during his year- and-a-half battle with cancer. He is mourned by Fran; children Nathan, Cheriene, Chantelle and Brenden; his parents; 1 brother and 3 siste rs.
