• Mrs. Emma Lydia Wedel, 82, wife of Rev. P. P. Wedel of Moundridge, died July 24 at Mercy Hospital there. The funeral was conducted Saturday forenoon at the First Mennonite Church of Christian, where her husband served as pastor for many years. Rev. Robert Coon, the present pastor officiated. Mrs. Wedel, the former Emma Kaufman, was born at Pretty Prairie and had lived at Moundridge since her marriage to Rev. Wedel in 1907. He survives with their two sons and six daughters and their families, one sister and three brothers. | |||
