Art Schmidt passed away Jan. 31 in Rosthern (Sask.) Nursing Home. He was born Aug. 21, 1920, the only child of Gustav and Wanda Schmidt at Waldheim, Sask. He was baptized as an in fant and reaffirmed his faith in Christ at 16 through confirmation at Rosthern Trinity Lutheran Church.
