+ | • Jacob P. Schmidt, 48, farmer of the Goessel community, died Sunday evening at the Bethesda Hospital after an extended illness. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Schmidt, he was married to Sylvia Hiebert in 1941. She survives with three sons, Archie of rural Newton, Lonnie and Ivan of the home; daughters Agatha and Ilona of the home; one brother, three sisters, and two grandchildren. The funeral is to be held Wednesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Aaron Epp officiating. |
