•  A six-week illness proved fatal to Jackie Curtis Unruh, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Unruh of rural Galva, who died last Sunday morning.  The youth was a student at Galva High School and a member of the Lone Tree Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon by Ministers Herman Nightingale and Arnold Wiggers.  Surviving in addition to the parents are a brother, Gordon, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Unruh of rural Galva and Mrs. Marie Dirks of Scott City.
