Falls to Death Under Earth Moving Machine
Orrville, Ohio. — Orrie Dale Nussbaum, 42, of Dalton met instant death on Dec. 29 when crushed under the wheel of a large earth moving machine in Canton.
He was on the job with Nussbaum Construction Co. when the driverless machine began to move forward. He jumped on and attempted to stop it, but fell under a wheel.
The funeral was held Jan. 1 at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Orrville, of which he was a member, with Rev. Walter H. Caston and Rev. Bill Detweiler of Kidron officiating.
Survivors include his widow, three sons and two daughters; his father, Levi Nussbaum of Orrville; four brothers and three sisters.
