● David D. Wiebe, 75, a resident here for more than 50 years, died Sunday night at the Veterans Hospital in Wichita. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Mennonite Church, of which he was a member, with Rev. Arnold Epp and Rev. Paul Isaak officiating. Mr. Wiebe was born in Russia, and was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad as a boilermaker for more than 35 years before his retirement. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth, three daughters, two sons, 13 grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
