• Mrs. Helen Schwartz, 84, who made her home here with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Reimer, died April 1 at Axtell Christian Hospital.  Formerly of the Goessel community, she had lived in Newton since 1942.  Her husband, Reinhold W. Schwartz, died in 1944.  Surviving in addition to the daughter here are a son, William E. of Wichita; one grandchild; and a brother, Cornelius Warkentin of Beatrice, Neb.  The funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church with the pastor, Rev. Aaron Epp, in charge.
