&bull;  Two long-time residents at Hillsboro died Saturday, Jan. 28.  Mrs. Helen (Hiebert) Plenert, widow of Adolf Plenert, died at Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton after a long illness.  The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Johannestal Church, with Rev. Victor Sawatzky in charge.  John L  W. Regier, 72, died at the Salem Hospital after suffering a heart attack.  He was a retired barber and former operator of the Star Mail Route.  The funeral was conducted Tuesday at the Hillsboro M. B. Church with his pastor,  Rev. Elbert Koontz of the Hillsboro First Mennonite Church, officiating.
