GERTRUDE BAERG
Gertrude Baerg of Tabor Horne, St. Catharines passed away Oct. 28. She was born May 10, 1905 in Hierschau, southern Russia. In her teens her beloved grandmother and parents died. This was followed by a wave of violence in the Russian Revolution, and then by a wave of spiritual revival. She responded to the invitation to follow Christ. She immigrated to Alberta and married Aron Baerg. They established a strong Christian home on the prairies, living in Namaka, Crowfoot and Aron died in 1987.
