ANNE KROEGER

(Mrs.) Anne Kroeger of Winnipeg passed away on August 2. She was born July 19, 1946 to Heinrich and Katharina Loewen in Gronau, Germany. The family emigrated to Paraguay in 1948, and to Canada in 1955; she joined the North Kildonan (Winnipeg) MB Church in 1961; attended MBCI; finished teacher training and taught two years in North Kildonan; married Edwin Kroeger in 1967, and their union was blessed with two children. When disease struck in 1976 and particularly during the past year, she responded wholeheartedly to this challenge to her faith. Her testimony was an inspiration to all who visited. She is sorely missed by her husband Edwin, daughter Evelyn and son Edwin Carl; mother Katharina; two sisters, Tina (Mrs. Arthur) Polnau and Jessie (Mrs. Victor) Harder; and many other relatives and friends. The funeral took place on August 4 in the North Kildonan church, with pastor William Neufeld, and Allan Labun, officiating.
