MARGARET LOCKHART
Margaret Lockhart of Grande Prairie, Alta. passed away Apr. 25. She was born Aug. 25, 1909 to Jacob and Margaret Franz in Klippenfeldt, Russia. In 1925 the family immigrated to Canada, settling on the Adair Ranch near Wembley, Alta. In 1934 she moved to Vancouver to work as a nanny and housekeeper. She joined the MB church in Vancouver. In March 1946 she married Ivan Lockhart in Lethbridge, Alta. They farmed in Claresholm, Alta. for 2 years, then Hythe, Alta. for 26 years. After retirement, they moved to Hythe and later to Grande Prairie. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister, she is mourned by Ivan; daughters Marlene Collins and Yvonne Lessack; 7 grandchildren; and 2 sisters. The funeral was Apr. 29 in La Glace (Alta.) Bible Fellowship, with Nelson Senft ministering.
