KARI ELIZABETH GASSER

Kari Elizabeth Gasser of Clearbrook, B.C. passed away Aug. 10 after giving birth to her daughter, Bethany. She was born Oct. 22, 1961 to Karl and Beth Freudenberger in Bethlehem, PA. The family moved to Kamloops, B.C., where they attended the Free Methodist Church. She graduated from Clearwater Secondary School and Trinity Western University. She was a dedicated teacher whose love and concern for her students was clearly evident in her teaching. In Abbotsford, B.C., she met Grant Gasser, former associate pastor of Newton (Man.) Community Fellowship Church. She is remembered as a kind, thoughtful and caring person who will be greatly missed. She is mourned by her husband; daughter Bethany; parents; 1 brother and 2 sisters. The funeral was Aug. 15 in Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church, with Ray Dueck ministering.
