Mrs. Peter Mandtler (nee Peters) of Saskatoon went to be with her Lord on September 11 at the age of 82. She was born on November 25, 1895 in Alexandertal, in southern Russia. She immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1903, and she was baptised on July 25, 1915. She was married on February 7, 1926 to Peter P. Mandtler, widower living near Dalmeny, Sask., who had a family of five children. The couple has one son of their own, Arthur.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Peter; her daughters: Lydia Friesen, Saskatoon, Esther Isaac, St. Catharines Ont., Martha Friesen, Abbotsford, B.C. Clara Quiring, Nipawin, Sask.; and her son Arthur of Dalmeny and Menno of Saskatoon.
