— Funeral services for John Schroeder, 71, well known and respected farmer of the Goessel community, were held Sunday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite church. The services, which were widely attended, were conducted by Rev. Philip A. Wedel, pastor, and Rev. H. B. Schmidt of the Tabor church. Mr. Schroeder died at the Axtell Christian hospital here Friday morning, Feb. 26. He is survived by his wife and three children, Lydia and Rudolph of the home, and Herbert of Walton. | |||
