Death Claims Oldest Member at Salford, Pa.
Salford, Pa. — Lewis M. Moyer, the oldest member of the Salford Mennonite Church, died recently at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Linnaeus Kulp, Harleysville. He was 99.
Mr. Moyer was born Sept. 19, 1866. A daughter, Mrs. Lizzie D. Anders, preceded him in death by about a month. His wife, Sallie Drissel Moyer, died in 1943. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Kulp are another daughter, Mrs. Minnie Bucher, and one brother, Jacob M. Moyer of Harleysville.
The funeral was held Nov. 17 at the Salford Church.
