•  Funeral services were scheduled Wednesday afternoon at the Pretty Prairie Mennonite Church for Samuel J. Stucky, 77Rev. Ben Rahn, the pastor, was to officiateMr. Stucky, a lifelong resident of the Pretty Prairie community and a retired farmer, died Sunday at a Hutchinson hospital after at three-week illness. Mrs. Gladys Ratzlaff of Newton is one of five surviving children.

• Graveside services were held Saturday afternoon at Greenwood Cemetery for Samuel J. Yoder, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Yoder who died Friday morning at Deaconess hospital. The little baby was born Thursday, Dec. 2. Surviving in addition to the parents are a brother and sister of the home, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elva Yoder of Topeka, Ind. and Mr. and Mrs. John Mitschelen of Goshen, Ind.
