MRS. SARAH TEICHROEB

Sarah Teichroeb (nee Harder), of Kitchener, Ontario passed away following a stroke on May 21. She was born on January 16, 1907 to Gerhard and Elizabeth (nee Richert) Harder in Sparau, south Russia. When she was 16 she accepted Christ at a Bible study, was baptized that same year by Rev. Abram Nachtigal of Alexanderkrone, and received into membership at the Lichtfelder Alliance Church. She emigrated to Canada in 1925 and worked for two years in Saskatchewan and Alberta before moving to Kitchener, where she found employment in a local factory.

She was married in 1944 to Abram Teichroeb, a widower with two sons, and she moved to be with them in New Hamburg, Ontario. A daughter was born in 1946 and in 1951, the family moved to Kitchener where she remained until her death.

She is survived in loving memory by her daughter Rosanne (Mrs. Ross) Goodwin of Kitchener; two sons, Waldemar of Waterloo and Theodor of Kitchener; and six grandchildren.
