Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bethel College Church for Mrs. Linda Haury, 88, widow of Dr. Richard S. Haury, for many years a well-known Newton physician. Mrs. Haury died July 4 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital after a long illness. She formerly served on the Newton board of education and was active in community affairs and her church. Dr. Haury died in 1951. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harold Regier of Buhler, Mrs. Leo Brandt and Mrs. Walter B.
