Funeral services for Herman Regier, 76, of Syracuse, Kan. were held Saturday forenoon at the Bethel College Church, with Rev. Esko Loewen officiating. A native of the Moundridge community, Mr. Regier had lived at Syracuse the past 22 years, having extensive farming interests there. He died at his home June 23 of an apparent heart attack. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Justine Claassen of Omaha, Neb. and Mrs. Margaret Pankratz of Buhler; and three brothers, Alvin of King City, Calif., Emil of Denver, Colo., and Sam of North Newton.
