+ | • Word was received here that Albert Toews, 73, a native of Newton, died Saturday at Turtleford, Sask. As a youth he attended the Newton schools and Bethel College Academy. He went to Turtleford in 1912, taking up a homestead claim there. Surviving are his widow and two sons, as well as three sisters and three brothers. Two sisters, Lydia Enz and Mary Claassen, are residents of Newton. |
