Retired Supreme Court Justice Dies at Age 82

In poor health since his retirement in 1962, former Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter died recently in George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D. C. at the age of 82. Death was due to an acute heart attack.

Born of Jewish parents in Vienna, Austria, Frankfurter was brought to the United States in 1894. 'appointed to the Supreme Court by President Roosevelt, Frankfurter was often accused of being a liberal with a too-free interpretation of the Constitution.
