Eureka, Ill. — Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Schertz, 89, a lifelong resident of this area, were held Saturday forenoon, Nov. 23, at the Roanoke Mennonite Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Norman Derstine officiated. | |||
Mrs. Schertz did Nov. 19 at Eureka Hospital, where she had been a patient since Oct. 24. | |||
She was born here on Aug. 14, 1875, a daughter of David and Anna Reeser Ulrich. Her marriage to Andrew P. Schertz took place Jan. 16, 1900, and he died in 1927. | |||
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Oliver Yoder of Eureka; three brothers, Peter N., David E. and Emanuel Ulrich all of Eureka; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Schertz of Falfurrias, Tex., Mrs. Fannie Schrock and Mrs. John Harnish, both of Eureka; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. | |||

Eureka, Ill. — Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Schertz, 89, a lifelong resident of this area, were held Saturday forenoon, Nov. 23, at the Roanoke Mennonite Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Norman Derstine officiated.
Mrs. Schertz did Nov. 19 at Eureka Hospital, where she had been a patient since Oct. 24.
She was born here on Aug. 14, 1875, a daughter of David and Anna Reeser Ulrich. Her marriage to Andrew P. Schertz took place Jan. 16, 1900, and he died in 1927.
