Elias A. Pollman, son of Andrew and Anna (Hofer) Pollman, was born Oct. 6, 1899 and died Sept. 26, 1964. Death was due to a heart attack while doing the morning chores. He reached the age of 64 years, 11 months and 21 days.

He was baptized by Rev. John P. Hofer upon his confession of faith on June 17, 1917 in the Hutterthal Mennonite Church near Freeman, S. D. He was a faithful member to the end.

He was united in holy matrimony with Minnie (Hofer) Pollman on March 6, 1921. They shared joys and sorrows for 43 and one-half years. To this union were born two children, Edwin and Margie, Mrs. Ray Mehlhaff.

Father was always a reserved and likable person. He lived a quiet and a reasonably healthy life. He had been sick with pneumonia many years ago. This was the only time that he was really bedfast. He was active on th farm, where he enjoyed to work, until the moment he died.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Minnie; his children, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin E. Pollman, living at home, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mehlhaff, Dale, Terry and Jefferyy Mehlhaff of Rapid City, S. D.; two brothers, Paul A. and Andrew A.; one sister, Mrs. Joe J. Hofer (Anna), all of Freeman; and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were conducted on Sept. 29 at the Hutterthal Church, with Rev. Gerhard M. Peters in charge.

ELIAS A. POLLMAN

Elias A. Pollman, son of Andrew and Anna (Hofer) Pollman, was born Oct. 6, 1899 and died Sept. 26, 1964. Death was due to a heart attack while doing the morning chores. He reached the age of 64 years, 11 months and 21 days.
