A native of Elkhart County, Rev. Buzzard formerly served as a minister of the Metamora Mennonite Church at Metamora, Ill. He returned to Elkhart in 1929 and during retirement assisted at the Belmont Mennonite Church here, of which he was a member.

His wife, the former Cora Shoemaker, died in 1959. Surviving are three sons, four daughters, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Oct. 17 at the Belmont Church, with Rev. Millard Lind officiating.

Retired Minister Dies at Age 93

Elkhart, Ind. — Rev.. A. L. Buzzard, formerly of Elkhart and a resident of the Froh Brothers Home at Sturgis, Mich. for the past three years, died there Oct. 14 at the age of 93.

A native of Elkhart County, Rev. Buzzard formerly served as a minister of the Metamora Mennonite Church at Metamora, Ill. He returned to Elkhart in 1929 and during retirement assisted at the Belmont Mennonite Church here, of which he was a member.

His wife, the former Cora Shoemaker, died in 1959. Surviving are three sons, four daughters, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Oct. 17 at the Belmont Church, with Rev. Millard Lind officiating.
