RICH HILL, MO. YOUTH FATALLY HURT DURING STAY IN KANSAS
Garden City, Kan. — Jay Dean Becker, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Becker of Rich Hill, Mo., died in a hospital here July 17 of injuries received in a one-car accident six miles south of Garden City on Thursday. A young man with him also was injured.
The Becker youth, a 1964 graduate of the Rich Hill High School, had been employed for several weeks as a farm hand by Lawrence Withers of Copeland.
Funeral services were to be held at the Bethany Mennonite Church of Rich Hill on Monday.
