Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services for Mrs. Sovilla Helmuth, 62, wife of David D. Helmuth, were held at the Will Schmucker home near here Dec. 26. She was a member of the Amish church.

BURNS SUFFERED IN HOME ACCIDENT ON NOV. 10 PROVE FATAL

Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services for Mrs. Sovilla Helmuth, 62, wife of David D. Helmuth, were held at the Will Schmucker home near here Dec. 26. She was a member of the Amish church.

Mrs. Helmuth died at Lutheran hospital, Ft. Wayne, on Dec. 22 from severe burns suffered six weeks earlier when her clothing caught fire as she was singeing [sic] chickens.

Surviving are her husband, a son Joe E. K. Miller of Goshen, and daughter, Mrs. Samuel Chupp of White Pigeon, Mich., eight stepchildren and 12 grandchildren.
