Henderson, Neb. Farmer Dies Unexpectedly
Henderson, Neb. — Daniel A. Mierau, 49, well-known farmer here, died unexpectedly the morning of Jan. 28 at his home near Henderson.
Mr. Mierau grew up in this community and then moved to Indiana where he resided for a number of years. He returned here in 1949 following the death of his first wife, Dorothy, and a son Elmer, aged one year and 10 months.
In 1950 he was married to Elizabeth Thieszen, who survives with two daughters, LuElla, 14, and Evelyn, 9; two brothers, three sisters, and his mother, Mrs. Maria Mierau, all of Henderson.
Funeral services were conducted at the Bethesda Mennonite Church on Jan. 31 by Rev. Paul Isaak and Rev. John Thiessen.
