+ | • Frank K. Schmidt, 69, died Saturday, Nov. 30, at his home on East Second Street. Funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon at the First Mennonite Church, Rev. Arnold Epp officiating. Mr. Schmidt was a native of Marion County and farmed three miles west of Goessel for many years before moving to Newton in 1953. Survivors include his wife, the former Louise Frey; two sons, Alfred of rural Canton and Orlando of rural Moundridge; two daughters, Mrs. Herb Franz and Mrs. LeRoy Woelk of Goessel; 13 grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters. |
