• Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Oct. 3, at the First Mennonite Church of Christian, Moundridge, for C. H. Goering, 80, well-known retired banker there. He died Oct. 1 at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Goering was president of the Citizens State Bank for many years. He was the father of Waldo A. and Dr. Robert C. Goering of Moundridge and Rev. Paul Goering of Wichita, and brother of Herbert, Albert and Clarence J. Goering of Newton. | |||
