TWO AGED MEMBERS OF WATERLOO CONGREGATION CALLED BY DEATH
Waterloo, Ont. — The Waterloo United Mennonite church lost two of its members within three days when Abraham Friesen, aged 79 and Henry Neufeld, aged 78, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 14 respectively.
Abraham Friesen had served as deacon of the church for many years. He was born in Russia and came to Canada approximately thirty years ago.
Henry Neufeld was also born in Russia having come to Canada in the year 1942. He first lived in St. Jacob, Ontario, then in Toronto and came to Waterloo several years ago.
Rev. Henry Epp, pastor of the church, officiated at both services.
