Pratum, Oregon. — Benjamin J Ramseyer, 60, lifelong resident of this community, died of a stroke of paralysis Dec. 12 at a Salem hospital.

He was born in Salem on Feb 26, 1893, son of Joseph and Anna Rich Raymseyer [''sic'' Ramseyer]. He completed a course in the Capital Business college, Salem.

Mr. Ramseyer was engaged in farming until 1923 when he became a partner with his brother Alfred P. Raymseyer [''sic'' Ramseyer], in the garage business in Salem. Later he was associated with the W. T. Rigdon funeral home, retiring in 1948 due to ill health.

Oregon Business Man Called By Death

Pratum, Oregon. — Benjamin J Ramseyer, 60, lifelong resident of this community, died of a stroke of paralysis Dec. 12 at a Salem hospital.

He was born in Salem on Feb 26, 1893, son of Joseph and Anna Rich Raymseyer [sic Ramseyer]. He completed a course in the Capital Business college, Salem.

Mr. Ramseyer was engaged in farming until 1923 when he became a partner with his brother Alfred P. Raymseyer [sic Ramseyer], in the garage business in Salem. Later he was associated with the W. T. Rigdon funeral home, retiring in 1948 due to ill health.

He was married to Maude Savage in 1924.
