Hit by Falling Brick, Dies of Injuries
New Holland, Pa. — Funeral services were held near here Aug 9 for Amos Esh, 45-year-old Amish farmer who lost his life in an accident several days earlier.
He and his two sons were razing a building near Spring Grove, Pa. when a large chunk of brick and plaster fell and struck him. He died about five hours later at the York, Pa. hospital.
Survivors include his wife, the former Leah Smucker, and five children.
