Died. Wieler, 57 died Saturday night Oct. 31 at his home two miles west of Niverville. Being still unmarried, he lived at the time all alone at his house. Evidently he was taken by a heart seizure. Sunday morning when his brother John Wieler came to his brother’s place he found him dead in his bed. The funeral will be held tomorrow at the M. B. church in Niverville.
Another death, a rather tragic one, occurred on Oct. 26 when the father of a respected family, Franz Hiebert, 57, living four miles north of Grunthal, in a state of despondency took his own life. Having sold his farm previously, he had an auction only three days earlier and was ready to move with his family to Winkler where he had bought a house and lot.
